The solid red rectangle is the trim — where the printer's die will cut,
producing a 2.5″ × 3.5″ card. The dashed cyan rectangle is the safe zone
— all text and load-bearing art must stay inside it. Everything between trim
and cyan is background that will survive a small cut alignment error. Everything
between trim and the outer edge is bleed — background that will be
trimmed off but must exist to avoid white slivers at the edge of the finished
card.
